Troy Rhodes and wife, Starla, recently transferred to the Kansas City area from St. Louis, Missouri with the Ford Motor Company, where he has worked for over 18 years. He is the proud father of six children and two grandchildren.
Troy attended Iowa Wesleyan College on a Football Scholarship and served in the United States Army.
He’s the Founder of the St. Louis Bulls AAU Basketball Club in the Ozark AAU Region, formed in 1992. Troy coached 3 Boys AAU State Championship Teams and 4 Girls AAU State Championship Teams. He has also coached a total of 10 AAU National Qualifying Teams.
Troy has over 10 former players in college, including his only son, Troy Rhodes, Jr., attending Webster University.
He was the 2005-2006 Assistant Boys Varsity Coach for Duchesne High School, where he helped lead the team to finish 23-4 and captured the 1st District Championship in 37 years.
Troy will join the Eclipse in 2007 as the Co-Coach of the Eclipse 16u (junior) Black team, and Head Coach of the Eclipse 10u (1996) team.
