Phil graduated from Wichita State University in 1993 and from Campus High School in 1989. Phil was an all league and all state player in football, basketball and baseball during his high school career. Phil went to Wichita State University on a baseball scholarship but numerous back surgeries ended his playing days prematurely.
Phil and his wife, Denee’, have 3 daughters: Taylor 14, Sydney 12 and Lexie 10. They live in Andover, KS. All 3 of his daughters are very active in volleyball, softball, track and basketball. He has been able to coach all of his daughter’s teams at one time or another and really enjoys the time that it allows him to spend with his family.
Phil has coached many successful teams over the past 10 years and when the opportunity presented itself to join the Eclipse organization; he jumped at the chance to be affiliated with such a first class group of people. He is extremely excited about the opportunity to work with such talented young players.
Currently Phil is an independent sales representative in the aviation industry. Outside of basketball, he is active in his church and enjoys playing golf.
